Cookie policy

One preference. No profiling.

This policy explains every browser-storage technology deliberately used by averiquanta.com and the controls available to you.

Plain-language summary

Averi Quanta does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, social-media pixels, gambling-affiliate identifiers or cross-site behavioural tracking. The website stores one first-party value in your browser’s local storage after you confirm that you are at least 18. That value keeps the adult-reader notice from appearing on every page.

Because no non-essential cookie or equivalent tracking technology is currently used, the site does not display a conventional “accept all” cookie banner. The adult notice is not marketing consent. It records only a local age-gate preference.

Cookies and similar technologies

A cookie is a small text record that a website asks a browser to store and return with later requests. Cookies may be limited to one browsing session or persist until an expiry date. First-party cookies belong to the site being visited; third-party cookies are set in connection with another domain.

Local storage is a separate browser mechanism. It allows a website to store a small key and value on the device, but the browser does not automatically send that value with every web request. Other related technologies include session storage, software development kit identifiers, pixels, device fingerprinting and cached identifiers. This policy covers all of them, not only files technically described as cookies.

The value does not contain your name, date of birth, location, gambling history or account information. It is not proof of identity and does not verify legal eligibility to gamble. Averi Quanta does not provide gambling in any event.

Technologies we do not use

  • No advertising cookies: there is no personalised-ad network or retargeting pixel.
  • No audience analytics: the launch version has no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or equivalent visitor-tracking script.
  • No affiliate attribution: the publication does not send readers to gambling operators for commission and does not use click IDs to track such referrals.
  • No social embeds: pages do not load embedded social posts, video players or share widgets that contact another platform before you act.
  • No browser fingerprinting: we do not combine fonts, device characteristics or network signals to create a persistent visitor identity.
  • No user accounts: there are no authentication, balance, deposit or session cookies.

Server logs are not cookies

When a browser requests a page, the hosting environment may generate a security and delivery log containing technical details such as the requested path, time, IP address, browser identifier and response status. That log exists on the server rather than in browser storage. It is covered by our Privacy Policy, where we explain purpose, access and retention.

External links

Our source lists link to courts, regulators, news publishers and health services. Those websites may use their own cookies after you choose to follow a link. They are separate organisations with their own notices and consent mechanisms. Averi Quanta does not set or read their cookies, and an ordinary text link does not allow them to track you on our pages before you click.

How to remove or block storage

You can remove the age preference through the privacy or site-data settings in your browser. Look for stored data associated with averiquanta.com, then delete it. The next page load will show the adult notice again. You can also configure your browser to block local storage or clear site data automatically when it closes; core articles remain readable, although the notice may reappear between pages or visits.

Private or incognito browsing generally creates a separate, temporary storage area. Browser vendors control the exact behaviour, so consult your browser’s current documentation if you require device-specific instructions.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Browsers may transmit privacy preference signals such as Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control. The site does not sell or share behavioural advertising data, so there is no sale or targeted-ad processing to opt out of. We nevertheless design the service to minimise collection regardless of whether a signal is present.

We do not treat continued browsing as consent to advertising or analytics because those activities do not occur. If a future feature requires non-essential browser storage, it will remain disabled until any legally required choice is made. We will describe the provider, purpose, duration and withdrawal method before deployment and update the inventory on this page.

Changes to this policy

A material change—such as adding analytics, embedded media or a new persistent identifier—will receive a new effective date and version. We will not silently convert the existing adult preference into permission for another purpose.

Questions

Questions about cookies or browser storage may be sent to privacy@averiquanta.com. Include your browser and device type if the question concerns removal instructions, but do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive financial information.
